On 7th July, KNUTS.in partnered with a multinational alcobev company, to facilitate a session where VoV Dr. Arunima Sinha talked about how a challenging journey has brought her to the top of the world. Quite literally. It’s all about imagining the limitless.
VoV Arunima Sinha is an Indian mountaineer and sportswoman. In 2011, Arunima was pushed out of a running train by robbers as she tried to resist them, in which she lost her left leg. She, however, did not let this accident deter her from pushing the boundaries. She went on to become the world’s first female amputee to scale Mt. Everest, Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mt. Elbrus, Mt. Kosciusko, Mt. Aconcagua, Mt. Denali, and Mt. Vinson.
In 2015, the Government of India honoured her with the Padma Shri.
