On 11th April, KNUTS.in proudly facilitated an inspiring session at a renowned educational institution featuring Voice of Value Kiran Bedi — who made history as the first woman to join the Indian Police Service, later rising through the ranks to become one of its top officers. The event, which included a motivational address and the felicitation of the university’s top-performing students, was a celebration of excellence, leadership, and lifelong service.
VoV Kiran Bedi brings with her a legacy of courage, integrity, and pioneering leadership. With over four decades of experience in public administration, reformative policing, and prison management, she has served in impactful roles including Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry and Police Advisor to the Secretary-General at the United Nations in New York. She is a recipient of the Ramon Magsaysay Award, and has represented India at global forums on crime prevention, women’s empowerment, and governance.
She is also the founder of two transformative NGOs—Navjyoti and India Vision Foundation—which have empowered thousands across underserved communities through education, vocational training, counseling, and healthcare. A celebrated author, former tennis champion, and doctoral scholar from IIT Delhi, Dr. Bedi continues to contribute to national dialogue through her books, media presence, and public engagement.
Known for her discipline-driven yet compassionate approach, Dr. Bedi has consistently advocated for reform, youth empowerment, and ethical leadership. Her work continues to empower young minds and create systemic change across education, governance, and civil society.
This session wasn’t just about recognizing academic excellence—it was about igniting a deeper drive for service, character, and nation-building among the youth.
