VoV Boman Irani is a celebrated Indian actor, director, and screenplay mentor, known for his dynamic presence across Hindi cinema and theatre. Born in Mumbai, he began his theatre journey in his late 30s and made his on-screen debut at 44 with Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., a role that catapulted him to national recognition. Since then, he has delivered acclaimed performances in films such as Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Well Done Abba, Khosla Ka Ghosla, 3 Idiots, Don, and Housefull. Beyond acting, he mentors emerging writers through his initiative Spiral Bound, and in 2025, he expanded his creative repertoire by writing and directing The Mehta Boys.
