On 13th August, KNUTS.in facilitated an inspiring virtual session with VoV PR Sreejesh for a renowned multinational paints company, exploring his remarkable journey, the challenges he overcame, and the mindset behind his success as one of India’s most celebrated hockey players.
VoV PR Sreejesh is the current Head Coach of the Indian Junior Men’s Hockey Team and one of the most decorated figures in Indian hockey. A former captain of the Indian men’s hockey team, he is a two-time Olympic medallist, winning bronze at the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games. He is also a two-time Commonwealth Games medallist, an Asian Games gold medallist, and a three-time FIH Goalkeeper of the Year.
Over the course of his playing career, Sreejesh earned some of India’s highest sporting honours, including the Arjuna Award, Padma Shri, Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award, and Padma Bhushan, and was named World Games Athlete of the Year in 2022.
A powerful conversation on resilience, discipline, leadership and the pursuit of excellence, the session drew from Sreejesh’s experiences both on and beyond the hockey field, offering participants valuable lessons on navigating challenges, performing under pressure and staying committed to one’s goals.
