Ankur started his Corporate career in November 1996 as an Assistant Manager with Tata Tea Limited. In a stint of a decade worked across geographies and departments.

After a Short stint with Madhu Jayanti International as GM Operations joined Apeejay Group where he established the entire Operations and Supply Chain for the Typhoo Brand in India. In 2010, Ankur joined Twinings to lead the Project of Upgrade of the product and processes of the Indian business at par with the Global standards of Twinings and Associated British Foods.

Ankur later joined Emami in 2013 as Country Head Operations in Bangladesh where he commissioned the Ayurvedic and Cosmetic manufacturing plant. He Then moved to the Export Unit in Kolkata as a Unit Head. He also established the Corporate Safety cell as Head of HSE before moving into his current role of Head of SCM and Projects where he leads multiple teams across locations catering to the international Business.

Alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Ankur remains a soldier at heart! After losing a career of his dreams, he came back stronger; like a true soldier morphed himself into a successful corporate professional.

Ankur has proven expertise in Strategic Planning, Operations, SCM, Projects, Procurement and Compliance .

He is really passionate towards include Public Speaking, Community Development, Environment & Wildlife Conservation. Ankur’s passion to mentor young students and entrepreneurs in the pursuit of their ambitions is facilitated by his position as a Guest Faculty at Industry Associations and Educational Institutions.
