A born leader,Mr. Sunil Shah is passionpersonified. An activemember of the Ahmedabad Management Associationsince 1983, he has playeda key role in the growthof the organization. Fromdeveloping newsletters orbringing in new members toactively promoting AMA’sactivities or sharing hisknowledge and insight asa lecturer of the PGDBAcourse, his contributions to AMA have been invaluable.

Prior to his exclusive involvement with AMA,he was Vice President of the prestigious Leo Club,Jodhpur, Ahmedabad.

Mr. Sunil Shah’s spirit of enterprise took shapein the form of ‘Motivation Engineers’. Establishedin 1991, this fledgling enterprise created wavesin the industry by launching a unique conceptof ‘Utility Services Provider’ for the constructionindustry. ‘Vermiculite’ - a novel product for ‘overdeck insulation’ was an instant hit. Today, havingcompleted more than 15 lakh sq. ft of area foroverdeck insulation covering big projects to smallhouses, Motivation Engineers & InfrastructurePvt Ltd., continues to retain its No. 1 status in the country in that category.

‘Mr. Sunil Shah’ is a namethat brings forth a vividimagery of a specialistengineer. ‘A non-technicaltechnocrat’ as he usuallyintroduces himself,Mr. Sunil Shah lives by thisvery ideology of disruptive thinking. He firmly believesthat thinking differently canmake a huge difference. As a seasoned veteran, his richexperience of around 35years has been a testamentto his philosophy.

Over the years, he has offered products,services, solutions and consultancy to several leading corporate houses and engineering industries of Gujarat. He has earned a reputation as an authority in the areas of Insulation atconstruction, Structure re-strengthening and Roof ventilation.

Why Sunil?

Mr. Sunil Shah is dedicated to AMA. What is remarkable is that this dedication is unconditional. Consequently has been consecutively elected as a member of various committees since 1991 and has held positions of Hon. Joint Secretary and Hon. Secretary in 2001 and 2005 respectively. He has held the position of Chairman of Special Project Committee, responsible for setting up of World Trade Centre and few Special Golden Gujarat projects along with Govt. of Gujarat during 2008-09. He has been the Vice President during 2010-11, elevating him to play a much more larger and responsible role.

As the chairman of Gujarat Innovation Society which was set-up in 2011 under direct guidance of visonary leader the then C.M. of Gujarat Shri Narendra Modi. GIS is the first and only initiative in the area of innovation. More than 2 lacs citizens have join innovation movement through unique self-growth for innovation. GIS has received support and recognition from Govt. of Gujarat, various Universities, associations, chambers and also from NITI Aayog.
